Mace earned his BFA in Theater from Southern Methodist University. While at school, Mace also found a love for theater research. He's an Engaged Learning Fellow '23 (The Gaga/Theatre Project) and was accepted to the National Conference for Undergraduate Research '23 (Gender Conditioning and Performance). As a result of his research, Mace created LINO- a one person show about identity, love, and the trans experience. Mace is proud to be a transgender actor and grateful to have shared his story through this show. LINO was apart of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Theater East's 2023 Season in NYC.
In Spring 2025, Mace made his Off-Broadway debut understudying Adam 2 in On The Evolutionary Function of Shame at Second Stage Theater, directed by Jess McLeod. Additionally, Mace has played Adam 2 in the Columbia University production of On The Evolutionary Function of Shame, and Romeo in the Boomerang Theater summer production of Romeo and Juliet in Central Park.
Mace is also a filmmaker. His most recent work, Shedding, included Reiko Aylesworth on the producing team.
