Mace is the coming-of-age best friend and swooning boy next door who answers the question, "What ifKieran Culkin and Robert Sean Leonard became one person who was also a trans man?"
In Spring 2025, Mace made his Off-Broadway debut understudying Adam 2 in On The Evolutionary Function of Shame at Second Stage Theater, directed by Jess McLeod. Additionally, Mace has played Adam 2 in the Columbia University production of On The Evolutionary Function of Shame, and Romeo in the Boomerang Theater summer production ofRomeo and Juliet in Central Park.
In 2022, Mace began his undergraduate research “The Gaga/Theatre Project” blending Ohad Naharin’s Gaga movement language with popular theatre movement practices. After studying Gaga in Tel Aviv he began articulating his findings through LINO, a one man show exploring personal and physical identity. LINOwas recognized by the National Council on Undergraduate Research under the title “Gender Conditioning and Performance” in 2023. Additionally, LINO was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in Theatre East’s 2024 season.
He has directed for stage (No One’s Really A Vampire) and screen (Shedding, Silencing the Sirens). Movement directing credits include Girls Just Wanna Commit Domestic Terrorism (NY Premiere, The Tank) and Bobby Clearly (SMU). Mace has also taught movement workshops at Theatre East and the Texas State Theatre Department.
Additionally, Mace works in theatre marketing. He manages content for the social media accounts of producer Ken Davenport. He also films and edits “Marvelous Broadway Reviews” with producer Megan Ann Rasmussen, a family focused Broadway reviews series. Additional marketing director experience includes Any Minute Now at HERE Arts Center and Lost in Del Valle at SoHo Playhouse.
